OVERVIEW OF EDITIONS OF BÔ YIN RÂ’s BOOKS AS PUBLISHED BY BOOKS TO LIGHT (U.S.):
1. First Edition: 2013-2014, translation by Posthumus Projects, Amsterdam (copyrighted by the Posthumus Projects (Amsterdam, Netherlands), then copyrights obtained by Books to Light (Netherlands), and then by Books to Light (U.S.). All 32 books of the Hortus Conclusus have been translated. All are available as ebooks and all are bilingual (German-English).
2. 2021 Edition: based on further edited translation completed by the Posthumus Projects (1st Edition of 2013-14) (copyrighted by Drs Taco van der Plaats, then copyright obtained by the Books to Light (U.S.). Edits were in the area of accuracy of translation, and had been significant enough to warrant a separate copyright. All 32 books of the Hortus Conclusus have been included in this Edition. All are have been compiled into one so-called ‘bible edition’ single language monumental book available as a hardcopy (ca 1200 pages), titled Hortus Conclusus “The Enclosed Garden”, Comprising All Thirty-Two Books Of The “Complete Spiritual Teaching”.
3. Second Edition: (2022-current), based on First Edition (2nd Edition publications completed until year 2024) as well as on 2021 Edition (2nd Edition publications completed from year 2025). Edits to the text made by the multinational team associated with the Books of Light (U.S.) and mainly in the area of correctness of translation, technical accuracy of both the English and German text, added are the emphases (in bold (till 2024) or in italics (from 2025); the English text is now gender neutral, added are also explanatory footnotes, complete of works including the indexes of all books a part of the Hortus Conclusus and outside Hortus Conclusus series, etc. This Edition is bilingual (German-English) to allow for comparative reading. Currently 11 books of the Hortus Conclusus are available in this Edition as ebooks as well as (hardcover) hardcopies and more are being added each year. Hardcopy books can be shipped globally.
4. Future Editions: books by Bô Yin Râ which are outside the main body of work called Hortus Conclusus are being translated and published by the Books to Light (U.S.). First is ‘Kodizill zu meinem geistigen Lehrwerk’ to be published as hardcopy and ebook in early 2026. All future editions will also be bilingual (German-English).
